As women nears the onset of menopause, hormonal changes can increase the probability of fibroid development.With lower amounts of progesterone and an increased amount of estrogen can cause uterine fibroids, which can lead to menstrual problems, dizziness and fatigue. * Reducing estrogen levels can naturally shrink fibroids. This also includes limiting the use of birth control pills, hormone replacement drugs, spermicides and pesticides.

* Stress can lower the progesterone in the body and lead to a surge of estrogen. Taking the time to de-stress can help shrink fibroids naturally.
